Lyndon B. Johnson. Large Photograph Album Presented to the Pecks by LBJ Commemorating 1968 Visit to the Ranch, Johnson Family Photograph Inscribed and Signed by Lyndon Johnson to Gregory and Veronique Peck, and White House Visit Photographs. Large 13.25" x 15" photograph album presented by President Lyndon B. Johnson to Gregory and Veronique Peck. Dark green leatherette with front board ruled in gilt and "Springtime in the Hill Country" stamped in gilt at the lower right corner of the front board. The album contains 15 color and B&W 10.75" x 13.75" photographs that document their visit to the Johnson family ranch in Gillespie County, Texas on May 31-June 2, 1968. Taken by White House staff photographer, Michael A. Geissinger, with his photographer credit ink stamps and alphanumeric sequence ink stamps on the verso of each photo. Includes an itinerary of the events during the visit. Front cover detached. Laid-in are two original color photos of LBJ and Mr. Peck sitting in the field of wildflowers on the ranch. One 10.75" x 13.75" (image size 7.5" x 10.875") with cropping instruction in black ink, and one cropped 9.5" x 9.5", as well as a strip of three 35mm color negative camera film exposures from this sequence.

Accompanied by a color 11.25" x 7.875" photograph affixed to 13.875" x 10.875" mount board of the Johnson family posing in the wildflowers on their ranch in 1968. Inscribed in black ink in the lower mount, "To Veronique & Gregory Peck, with the affection and gratitude of all of us - The Lyndon B. Johnsons." With sequence number 2MA68C-9853 ink stamp on the mount verso. Photo shows some emulsion dulling to the upper left corner, some tiny chips to the upper left board edge, and lower left board corner bumped.

Includes eight (8) gelatin silver semi-gloss double-weight 11" x 14" photographs featuring Gregory and his wife Veronique, together with a young girl taken during a 1966 visit with President Lyndon B. Johnson in the White House. Likely taken by a White House staff photographer, each with alphanumeric sequence numbers stamped on the verso, and three with exposure numbers in pencil on the verso. Fine, with slight edge wear.

Also included are Gregory and Veronique Peck's Flight Certificates issued to acknowledge that they flew aboard the Presidential Helicopter on June 2, 1968. The certificates feature a color photograph of the Helicopter above the National Mall with White House in the background and are each signed by the pilot.

Together with a 9.25" 5.75" color photograph affixed to 13.875" x 10.875" sturdy mount board of Gregory Peck with Lady Bird Johnson and Luci Baines Johnson taken at an event on June 7, 1999. Inscribed to Gregory Peck on the mount in black ink by Luci Baines Johnson, "For Gregory Peck - From one of generations of Johnsons who adore you! Respectfully - Luci Baines Johnson." With photographer credit ink stamp, 5-13-99 date and sequence number handwritten in ink on the mount verso.
