Fred Scott Distinctive Uniform Jacket from Captain Video and His Video Rangers (DuMont TV, 1949-1955). Light blue-gray wool uniform jacket with yellow lapels, epaulettes, and cuffs trimmed with red, red elastic waist, and featuring a large lightning bolt across the chest worn by Fred Scott as "Communications Officer Rogers" from this "good guys vs. bad guys" series set in the distant future. With zipper and six snaps front closure. Custom-made by Brooks Uniform Co., with their internal maker's label and costume label inside the pocket with Fred Scott's name handwritten in ink. It exhibits some slight toning along the sleeves and shoulders, a few light spots and light wear commensurate with age and production use, but remains in very good vintage condition overall. Acquired from the show's cameraman, Mr. Arthur Forrest.
