The Beatles Original Yellow Submarine George Harrison Porcelain Figurine by Goebel (1968). A hand-painted 8.5" tall figurine produced in Germany by the venerable Goebel Company in 1968. On the bottom of the right foot is an impressed "BULL 309" with "1968" on the left along with the three line "© by/ W. Goebel/ W. Germany" mark in blue. This is one of a set of four Beatle figures that was made for the American market in a quantity reported to be no more than 100 sets. Goebel was founded in 1871 and, to this day, has been known for the quality of their artistic expression and unsurpassed craftsmanship.

There are few Beatle collectibles rarer or more desirable than this and full sets are missing from many collections. With some wear and minor chipping on Georges right pants leg. A few small marks that appear to be filled in black marker. His left foot has a small mark in what appears to be filled in with black marker. Nice specimen that will display well.
