The Munsters (CBS TV, 1964-1966), Al Lewis "Grandpa Munster" Signature Tuxedo Ensemble. Vintage original (2) piece ensemble consisting of (1) traditional black tuxedo jacket with classic tails, peak lapels lined with orange sateen and interior lined with matching orange sateen, retaining internal Western Costume Co. stamp and bias label marked, "Al Lewis" "2545-1", and (1) pair of matching black tuxedo pants with orange sateen stripe and retaining Western Costume Co. stamp and bias label marked, "Al Lewis" "2204-1". Both items exhibiting production wear and age, including color fade and wear to the overall fabric and sateen, and 1- approx. 4" breach to the left leg knee area. For display purposes, lot is accompanied by a white tuxedo shirt, white vest, bowtie, black high-collared costume cape with decorative closure, wig with sideburns, costume cigar, medallion on red ribbon, suspenders, black gloves, black socks, black dress shoes, and padding for midsection. Stewart took great pride in displaying his collection and had many custom-built mannequins in the likeness of the character made for his costumes. This lot includes one of those mannequins, which is in used and well-loved condition and will require special shipping. The option is yours if you would like to receive the mannequin.
