Description

Batman Mask & Glasses Lot (Marx/Opti-Ray, 1966). A bold flashback to the peak of 1960s superhero fandom, this striking Batman lot contains four rare mask-themed collectibles that capture the playful charm and global reach of the Caped Crusader's 1966 craze. Produced by companies such as Marx and Opti-Ray, the collection includes a standout pair of Batman Bat-Mask Glasses, blending superhero style with playful eyewear design. Also featured are the Batman Mask Specs U.S. version by Marx, showcasing a sleek black mask with bold yellow accents, along with the Antifaz Hecho en México version, which mirrors the original design but adds a unique silver flair. Rounding out the set is the Official Bat-Mask, a classic nod to the era's caped crusader craze. All items, with the exception of the Bat-Mask Glasses, remain mounted on their original packaging and serve as striking relics of vintage superhero merchandising. Each piece displays handling wear consistent with age, including corner bends, surface folds, and scuffing, while the Bat-Mask Glasses show additional signs of scratching and wear. Notably, the header for the Bat-Mask shows extensive bending wear with creasing. Together, they offer a dynamic look back at Batman's global reach and enduring appeal in the mid-1960s.
