Pinewood Studios Visitors Book with 400+ Signatures (ca. 1969-1984). Vintage original Pinewood Studios Visitors book containing over 400 signatures between September 1969 and February 1984. Measuring 10" x 8", the book is bound in black leather embossed in gold with the studio's original emblem on the center front cover and "Pinewood Studios" on the bottom right. Signatures of note include Ava Gardner (signed twice), Christopher Plummer, Roger Moore (signed twice), Charlton Heston, Ringo Star, Sean Connery, Robert Wagner, Bette Davis, Alfred Hitchcock, Shirley MacLaine, Kirk Douglas, Sidney Poitier, Mia Farrow, Julie Andrews, Sophia Loren, Michael Caine, Richard Harris, Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy (signed twice), Albert Broccoli, Burgess Meredith, Burt Reynolds, Carroll Baker, Clint Eastwood, Jackie Stewart, Peter O'Toole, and Omar Sharif. Opening on September 30th, 1936, Pinewood Studio has been home for some of the largest franchises of all time including Star Wars, Harry Potter and James Bond. Book displays general age and wear with hardening to the leather and minor breakdown of the binding adhesive. Comes with a Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
