The Prince and the Showgirl (Warner Bros., 1957) Marilyn Monroe 14" x 11" Original Custom Gallery Photograph by Milton H. Greene. Vintage gelatin silver semi-gloss borderless double-weight 14" x 11" custom photograph of Marilyn Monroe applying makeup in costume in The Prince and the Showgirl, 1957, by Milton H. Greene, with PHOTOGRAPHED / BY / MILTON H. GREENE wet stamp and print number "3175 / 2 / 35" in graphite on the verso. Printed by Greene in 1957. Greene made 53 portrait sittings of Monroe and formed Marilyn Monroe Productions together on January 7, 1955. This was the second film completed under their partnership, with Greene shooting all the principal still photography. From the Estate of Milton H. Greene. Fine+, with stress and chipping at the corner tips, bump at the upper edge, and undulation at the upper and lower edges. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
