Description

The Early Beatles Original Stereo Sealed Vinyl LP (Capitol, St 2309) (1965). Vee-Jay Records had gained American distribution rights to the tracks before the group became popular in America. In October 1964, Vee-Jay's license to distribute the Beatles recordings they possessed expired, so Capitol finally got the American distribution rights for the tracks on the album. This is a factory sealed copy of the compilation with a warning on the back cover in the bottom center: "This stereo record should be played only with a stereo cartridge and needle to avoid damage." There is a small split in the shrink wrap on the back cover at the top of the album approximately 1". Very cool piece. NM 8/MT 10 (disc) COA from Heritage Auctions.
