White Heat (Warner Bros., 1949), Original Poster Art by Luigi Martinati for Italian Poster. Vintage original White Heat poster art for the 1950 first Italian Release by Luigi Martinati. Accomplished in ink and gouache on paper affixed to 19.5" x 27.5" board. Poster image features James Cagney as "Cody Jarret" wielding a rifle like a club. The title treatment and credits were altered for the printed poster. Verso retains Christie's lot sticker from previous sale. Exhibiting age and handling. Poster for reference only, not included with lot. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
