Yellow Giraffe Spotted Fur and Felt Bird Hand Puppet from Captain Kangaroo (CBS TV, 1955-1992). Screen-used prop from the beloved children's show Captain Kangaroo. Included is the yellow bird hand puppet, measuring 28" x 14" x 14", featuring a faux giraffe spotted fur body with applied spots, long black felt hair, a yellow and orange felt beak with, and attached yellow felt wings primarily used in the 1970s and 1980s by actor and puppeteer Cosmo "Gus" Allegretti. Acquired from Mr. Robert Keeshan. Fine, with wear to the head piece felt edges.
