Robert Crumb Premiere Magazine Vol. 4, #8, April 1991, Complete 4-Page Story Original Art (News Corporation, 1991). The story title really sets the scene for you... "R. Crumb, 'The Old Outsider', Goes to the Academy Awards". And it goes about as well as you imagine it would! This story is set at the 1991 Academy Awards in L.A., and was later reprinted in HUP #4 in 1992. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11.5" x 16". Each page is jammed full of Crumb's intense inking, and hatch-work shading. The boards have a small amount of whiteout art clean-up/correction. The art pages are housed in a 14.5" x 18" art folio. They are toned and considered in Excellent condition. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
