Ideal's Captain Action line remains a landmark in superhero toy history, offering interchangeable costumes that let one figure transform into multiple heroes. This lot brings together three of DC's most iconic characters as interpreted through the 1960s accessory sets: Batman, Superman, and Superboy. A single Captain Action base figure is included, along with the outfits and gear that made these sets so memorable. Condition presents in used/played-with state. The Batman accessory set is incomplete, missing the Batarang, Batrope, Reel, grappling hook, and flashlight; the drill is present but missing its hook. The Superman accessory set is also incomplete, with only the mask, golden chains, and Phantom Zone Projector present. The Superboy set is complete but the Interspacial Language Translator is broken, though all pieces are included. Outfits show moderate soiling and the masks display moderate paint rub. Also included are two Batman/Captain Action Flicker Rings-one silver and one large blue variant (these are typically newer bases with old flicker stock attached).
