Original Frank Fogarty Medieval Style Illustration Artwork for New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor of 1950 Presented to Gregory Peck for Twelve O'Clock High. Original illustration artwork in the style of a Medieval illuminated manuscript on a leaf of vellum commissioned by the New York Film Critics Circle and presented to Gregory Peck as the Best Actor of 1950 for his portrayal of "General Savage" in Twelve O'Clock High (20th Century-Fox, 1949). Accomplished in ink, watercolor, and mixed media by American cartoonist and illustrator, Frank Fogarty, on a 12" x 15" leaf of vellum and signed by Fogarty at the lower right. Matted and framed with overall dimensions of 15.25" x 18". Vellum exhibits some slight waviness indicative of this medium and light overall toning, but colors remain bright and vivid.
