DC Batman Vintage Wrist Watches (various, 1966-77). Two decades, two styles, one iconic hero. This lot includes two vintage Batman wristwatches, each offering a snapshot of Batman's merchandising legacy across distinct pop culture peaks. Both watches are untested and sold as is, making them ideal for display or restoration. The first is a Dabs Super Hero Watch (1977), issued at the tail end of the Bronze Age boom. The watch comes complete with its original yellow-stitched leather strap, light blue hard plastic display case, cardboard insert, warranty card, and outer cardboard sleeve - a full retail presentation seldom seen intact. The watch case shows heavy tarnishing, and the crystal bears minor scuffing. The insert is mildly warped and veined, consistent with age. The cardboard sleeve exhibits heavy surface wear, including scuffing, mild staining, discoloration, and severe edge/corner wear. The plastic case has begun to yellow around the edges, but remains structurally sound.
The second is a 1966 Gilbert Batman Action Watch, released at the height of Bat-mania during the Adam West TV era. This example appears unworn, with only mild rub to the metallic blue paint - a strong survivor from one of Batman's most explosively merchandised years.
