DC Batman Adventures of the Caped Crusader Board Game, Vinyl Playset, and Paint by Numbers Kit (Hasbro & Ideal, 1965-74). This trio of vintage Batman play formats spans nearly a decade of DC merchandising, offering an evocative snapshot of the Caped Crusader's rise from comic icon to toy aisle titan. Hasbro's Batman Game: The Adventures of the Caped Crusader (2676-2) debuted in 1974 and features stunning comic-style artwork of Batman and Robin leaping into action against a rogues gallery of criminals. Ideal's 1973 Batman Playcase is a colorful fold-out vinyl playset with pop-up diorama backdrops, modular floor sections, and cardboard cutouts of characters, props, and vehicles - all styled with pop-art flair. Finally, the 1965 Batman Oil Painting by Numbers kit invites aspiring artists to brush in bold color across pre-sketch panels featuring Gotham's Dark Knight.

The board game remains sealed in its original cellophane wrap, which is slightly dirty and shows several small tears and holes. The cello shrink has caused the box to concave inward, especially the back panel, resulting in heavy creasing to the corners. The Batman Playcase appears relatively unused; the vinyl is intact with moderate soiling and age wear, and the outer sleeve exhibits discoloration from storage. Of the two cardboard figure retainers, one is clean while the other has been taped in three spots. Twenty die-cut character and prop pieces are included - most in excellent shape with only minor scuffing and creases, save for Batman himself, whose cutout has a small tape-repaired tear at the top. The plastic figure stands remain factory-sealed in the original polybag, though the bag has a small tear in it. Lastly, the Oil Painting by Numbers kit is also still in its original cello wrap, which has multiple small tears and minor grime accumulation. The tight cello has caused box warping, two edges exhibit severe scuffing, and one of the paint vials has leaked slightly, staining the internal cardboard tray.
