Marvel & DC Super Hero Pens, Bake-a-Craft Kit, Color-A-Deck, & Super Friends Air Fresheners (Various, 1973-80). This vintage superhero ephemera lot brings together an eclectic mix of Marvel and DC collectibles from the peak of 1970s licensing mania. The standout item is a bulk set of 129 Super Heroes click pens by U.S. Pen Company, released in 1980 and featuring cross-brand cooperation between both major publishers. Character designs include Spider-Man (36), Superman (41, one yellowed), Hulk (40, with two notable misprints with black pants and no white detailing), Wonder Woman (8), and Batman (4). The original retail display box is present, along with the protective brown sleeve. The box shows significant wear, including a torn and taped corner, creased die-cut lid with interior surface tearing with tape repairs, and moderate soiling from long-term storage. While not every pen has been tested, none of those that were worked. It should be assumed that all of the pens have dried up by now.

Also included is a 1973 Bake-a-Craft "Stained Glass" kit featuring Batman, manufactured by Friends Industries. The unused kit includes colored plastic baking crystals and a metal frame to create a suncatcher-style ornament. The blister pack remains sealed, with visible edge wear and corner wear along with general surface scuffing and staining. From Russell's 1977 line comes a Super Hero Color-A-Deck card game, featuring Robin in solo packaging. The set includes the original deck, crayons, and header card. The crayons are melting into the card, deforming and staining it. The bubble is lifting from the top right corner. The card shows heavy creasing and staining. Rounding out the lot are two rare Super Friends air fresheners by Auto Aid Mfg. Corp., licensed in the mid-1970s. One features Batman, the other Robin, each die-cut to character shape and still sealed in original packaging. Cards remain bright but show scattered wear, including creasing and minor surface scuffing. Text is bilingual in English and French, suggesting Canadian distribution. Together, this group captures the broad pop culture reach of superhero merchandising across both publishers during a golden age of Saturday morning crossover appeal.
