The plaque beneath the disc is inscribed "Ms. Whitney Houston Gold Disk Award Whitney Houston (25RS-246) Nippon Phonogram Co., Ltd. 1986". Frame measures 14.25" x 17.25". In Excellent condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.

This, her debut album, reached the Top Five in the Japanese charts for both the CD and LP. The Recording Industry Association of Japan has certified it as having sales of more than one million units.
