Monsters of the Movies Mr. Hyde, Dr. Jekyll, & The Wolfman Model Kits (Aurora, 1975). Creeping in from the haunted heyday of classic monster kits, this chilling Monsters lot features three all-plastic snap-together 1/12 scale model kits released by Aurora in 1975. Part of the iconic Monsters of the Movies series, the trio showcases legendary figures from horror lore, each brought to life with glow-in-the-dark elements and moveable parts for extra fright-night flair. Included is Dr. Jekyll, kit number 654, capturing the twisted moment the good doctor raises his chemical concoction and begins his transformation into something far more sinister. The Wolfman, kit number 652, prowls the moonlit shadows, frozen in mid-stalk as he prepares to strike his unsuspecting prey. Rounding out the collection is Mr. Hyde, kit number 655, depicting the savage persona of Dr. Jekyll planning his next rampage through the foggy streets of old London. Each kit remains factory sealed in its original cellophane-wrapped packaging, with visible wear including corner bends, whitened corners, cellophane tears, scratching, scuffing, and discolored bottoms. The Mr. Hyde box shows the most noticeable signs of age, with cuts in both the cellophane and box on the front center panel, along with edge stressing and surface dents. A true collector's set that captures the eerie allure of vintage horror at its finest.
