Marvel Super-Hero Rings Lot of 2 (Macman, 1966). This Marvel Super-Hero Rings lot of 2, released by Macman in 1966, includes a Doctor Strange and a Human Torch/Dr. Doom ring. These packaged rings came in different variations with some packages holding just 1 ring while other bags held 3 plastic silver, gold, or multi-colored rings. The rings were offered in packs of 1 for 10 cents or 3 for 29 cents. The front of the card shows super heroes on both edges and Spiderman in the middle. The back has the same Spiderman that is intended to be cut out and stood up with the base flaps. Many of these rings were also offered in vending machines while the carded rings of this type are much rarer to find. Each ring comes in its original packaging with stapled header cards and paper backing cards that display additional Marvel heroes and product information. Both rings are unused, though the paper backing cards show handling wear at the edges and corners, with noticeable curving and fading. The bags exhibit additional scuffing wear but remain in good condition considering their age. Please enlarge the photos to view all details.
