1960 Fender Bassman Tweed Guitar Amplifier, Serial #BM04215.
This is a beautifully restored 1960 Fender Bassman Tweed amplifier, an iconic amp known for its rich, dynamic tone and historic significance. The tube chart date code (JI) places its production in September 1960, while the speaker date code (220037) confirms the speakers were manufactured in the 37th week of 1960. This 1960 model represents one of the last great Tweed Bassmans before Fender transitioned to the blonde and brownface era.
The amp has been expertly recovered, maintaining an authentic vintage look, and a replaced handle has been installed, though the original handle is included. A few capacitors have been replaced as part of standard maintenance, but the transformers appear to be original. This Bassman is housed in a durable Anvil-style road case, offering superior protection for transport and storage.
