Offered in this lot is a complete set of all 55 cards from the 1966 Topps Batman Black Bat series. These iconic cards are based on the Batman television series that aired on ABC from 1966 to 1968, starring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin. The show followed the dynamic duo as they battled Gotham City's notorious villains. Topps released this set in five different editions: the Black, Red, and Blue Bat sets, the Batt Laffs set, and the Riddler Backs set. The Black Bat set, along with the Red and Blue Bat sets, features artwork by Norman Saunders, renowned for his work on the original Mars Attacks cards.
