Description
Dixie Chicks Wide Open Spaces RIAA Hologram Multi-Platinum Sales Award With Signed and Inscribed Compact Disc. A large multi-platinum sales award for the Chicks' (then known as the Dixie Chicks) mainstream breakthrough, presented to a music industry vet. This is the album that gave the world the title track and "There's Your Trouble" as hit singles. According to the plaque in the center portion, "Presented To / Jack Chase / To Commemorate RIAA Certified / Multi-Platinum Sales of More Than / 4,000,000 Copies of the / Monument Records / Cassette and C.D. / Wide Open Spaces." Measures 27 ½" square. In Very Good Plus condition with scuffing and scratching on the clear cover, along with staining on the backing.Lot also includes a copy of the album with its liner notes signed and inscribed by Natalie Maines, Emily Erwin, and Martie Seidel, all in black felt ink. Case has some scratches on it. Overall, in Very Good condition. Lot comes with a notarized LOP from the wife of the original owner. COA from Heritage Auctions.
