Grateful Dead 1974 Philadelphia Psychedelic Concert Handbill. An original blue & green advertising flyer, printed on glossy paper, for the Grateful Dead in concert at the Philadelphia Civic Center on Sunday evening, August 4, 1974. Features great psychedelic artwork from the time period, with profiles of the six band members, half of them reversed-out (including Garcia). There's also the requisite skulls, mushrooms, smiling trolls and just a general trippy setting.

The band was touring behind its brand new album From the Mars Hotel, released just a week prior, which would become their second straight Top 20 album on their new Grateful Dead Records label.

Measures 5 3/4" x 7 1/2" and grades to Very Good Plus condition for minor handling, a double-creased upper left corner, a small light-brown mark on the left side in the swirling green & white area, and an infinitesimal notch in the upper edge (buried in the blue color). COA from Heritage Auctions.
