Boris Karloff The Man Who Changed His Mind Photos. In 1936, Boris Karloff returned to England again, this time to star as a mind-switching very mad doctor in The Man Who Changed his Mind. He signed for another British film (Juggernaut), and he and Dorothy spent six months there, leasing a countryside estate called "Old Malt House." This lot includes one still of Boris (with chimpanzee) in The Man Who Changed his Mind; a 6.5" x 8" photo of Boris on the cricket field (his widow Evelyn has written on the reverse regarding Boris and several Hollywood Cricket Club members, in London at the same time, challenging the Oxford University cricketers to a match); and nine 9" x 11.5" professionally-made photographs of Old Malt House. Also three shots of nearby inns and pubs. A different type of lot, and quite charming. From the Boris Karloff Estate Collection. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Sara Karloff Sparkman.
