Beatles 1966 Japanese Tour Book. A 16-page tour book from the Beatles' June 30-July 2, 1966 performances at Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo. The band received death threats for performing at the venue, which had originally been dedicated to accommodate martial arts events. This, combined just days later with a hostile send-off in the Philippines and the public outrage in the US over John Lennon's "we're more popular than Jesus now" comment, led the band to stop touring and to focus more on studio recording. These would be the Beatles' final performances in Japan, and some of their last shows ever as a band. In Very Fine to Excellent condition.
