Joe Cocker With a Little Help From My Friends RIAA Gold Album Award. Presented to songwriter Chris Stainton in honor of the sale of more than $1 million dollars worth of Cocker's 1969 debut album. A member of Cocker's Grease Band, Stainton co-wrote a number of tracks on the album (including the single "Marjorine") and also provided keyboard, organ, and bass tracks throughout. The award features a mounted gold disc along with the RIAA-issued dedication plaque. Framed to an overall size of 16" x 20" and in Very Fine condition with some wear to the frame and spot tarnishing to the disc.
