Hank Williams Signed "Me and My Broken Heart" Royalty Contract. A single-page royalty contract dated June 5, 1951, between Country music legend Hank Williams and Acuff-Rose Publications, signed at the bottom by Williams in green ink. The contract, signed less than two years before Williams' untimely death, gave him three cents per copy of the sheet music for the song sold in the U.S., one-fourth cents per copy sold overseas, and 50 percent of assorted licensing and recording receipts both domestic and foreign. The contract is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with file holes to the top, two heavy fold creases, and very slight discoloration along the edges. Due to his meteoric but brief career, authentic autographs by Williams are extremely rare, and the presence of this one on an official document makes it especially desirable.
