Description

The Doors' Vintage Concert Tour Equipment. The Doors were one of the most controversial Rock acts of the 1960s -- and that's saying a lot -- due primarily to the charismatic and wholly unpredictable stage persona of lead singer Jim Morrison. Their live performances were always eventful affairs, either because of the music or Morrison's onstage antics -- usually both.
This set of five travel cases of concert gear used by the band includes an array of microphone stands, ten Telex headsets, two Midland transceivers, eight junction boxes, four 200' lengths of cable, two 50' lengths of cable, a Shure sound mixer, two cases of assorted cable, two surge protectors, a reverb mixer, and a master volume/feed control box. The gear is packed in three 23.5" x 113" x 17.5" cases, one 28" x 11" x 18" case, and one 44.75" x 13" x 15" case, and is in overall Fine to Very Fine condition and still in working order. (The cases themselves are also Fine to Very Fine, with some wear and rusted fittings from extensive use on the road.) An outstanding selection of musical artifacts from one of the most original and influential Rock bands in music history. Requires third party shipping.
