13th Floor Elevators/ Sir Douglas Quintet Original Avalon Ballroom "Tree House" Handbill, FD-24, (Family Dog, 1966). A 9.5" x 12.5" handbill, designed by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, for the first San Francisco appearance of Texas' own Elevators with another great Texas band opening, the Sir Douglas Quintet. The graphic features a tree house supported by a bird's claw growing from the ground. It is printed on thin white paper in two shades of magenta and the back is blank. First printing, by the Bindweed Press. Very Good plus condition.
