Description
Original Jukebox Award Trophy. Founded in 1980, the Jukebox Awards are presented to musicians in recognition of the most frequently played recordings. This specific version of the award is #2 of the original five that were designed and crafted by sculptor Bill Mack, and used in the production of the original awards presentation that aired on November 12, 1980. The award is silver-plated cast bronze on an enameled marble base. It stands 7.5" x 11.5" x 4.5" and is in Excellent condition; accompanied by a signed LOA from Mack.Heritage Auctions provides as much information as possible but strongly encourages in-person inspection.
