Jimi Hendrix Fancy Ruffled Shirt (c. 1968). Shirt made of maroon-colored satin, long sleeves with ruffles at the cuff, five button front closure, further ruffle affixed to front, inside label now removed; included with a handwritten letter reading in part "Michael Spina Head Roadie/Vanilla Fudge/1968 Vanilla Fudge Tour/Fillmore West or Ice Palace/...encore Hendrix wearing /flower vest & maroon/ruffeled [sic] shirt - soaked/with sweat removed/ shirt & threw it at /me smack in the face/from that moment on/it was mine/now it's yours/ ...God Bless/Michael;" also included are two color snapshots, one showing Spina holding the shirt in his home.
