A John Wayne Shirt from "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance," "McLintock!" and "Big Jake." Paramount, 1962; United Artists, 1963; National General Pictures, 1971. Made of cotton with a tan and beige check pattern, long sleeves, two breast pockets, Western Costume Co. label reads "No. 2680-5 / John Wayne #1 / (Collar) 15;" first worn as Wayne portrayed "Tom Doniphon," then as "George Washington McLintock," and then as "Jacob McCandles." (Please note sweat and blood and/or coffee stains are evident on front of shirt.)
