The Rolling Stones Some Girls Promotional Standee Display (1978). Promotional countertop standee to promote the band's 1978 LP Some Girls, best known for its single "Miss You." The standee features the re-done album cover, as the original was immediately altered post-release due to the unlicensed use of some celebrities on the cover. Measuring 50.25" x 28.75" (or 26.25" x 28.75" folded), this cardboard display was produced to promote the release of the album it was never commercially available, intended only for display in major chain stores. Retaining its bright colors, standee exhibits light edge and corner wear including to the girl's hair, and light bending consistent with age and display, unobtrusive tape to verso. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
