Frank Sinatra 1940's Columbia Records Promo Poster. An original and striking retail promotional poster for the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra, way back in his early days on Columbia Records, which spanned 1943-1952. So this poster could have been printed and distributed anytime during that 10-year window. It's a highly compelling studio portrait of Ol' Blue Eyes, which makes it very easy to see why he was such a knockout object of affection to bobbysoxers.

The entire piece, including the linen backing, measures 17 3/4" x 22 1/2" and grades to linen-backed Very Good condition. This B&W paper poster was once quite wrinkled, but has been smoothed to perfection by the linen-backing process. There are also little instances of color breaks being professionally filled back in. You can see all this evidence by tilting the poster at an angle to the light, but straight-on, it's a visual gem. Usually, music collectors don't go for linen-backing like movie collectors do, but this is a happy exception that really rocks its linen-backing and restoration perfectly.
