FD-109 Arthur Lee & Love 1968 Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster Signed by Stanley Mouse, Graded 9.8. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for Love, Congress of Wonders and the Sons of Champlin playing at the Avalon Ballroom on Friday thru Sunday nights, March 8-10, 1968. Known as FD-109 in the Family Dog numbered series and nicknamed "Lovelady," this poster was stylistically and beautifully signed by its creator, Stanley Mouse, in gold pen on the green background down at the bottom. It was subsequently graded a totally loving 9.8 Near Mint/Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company).

By this point, Arthur Lee & Love had three Elektra Records albums to their name: Love and Da Capo from 1966, and the classic Forever Changes from '67. To say that Love's music has withstood the test of time is an understatement. Their charting positions in Billboard, both singles and albums, is pathetic compared to their influence, enduring popularity and respect shown to this day. Forever Changes was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and is part of the National Recording Registry. Measures 12 1/4" x 20". COA from Heritage Auctions.
