Description

Tex Ritter "High Noon" 1952 Klamath Falls, OR Concert Poster. An original cardboard window card advertising "Star of Stage, Screen & Radio" Tex Ritter appearing at The Armory in Klamath Falls, Oregon on Saturday night, December 6, 1952. The superlatives continue: "On Stage! In Person! America's Most Beloved Cowboy." The photo is even geared toward movies, with a picture that identifies his horse, White Flash. And the motion picture High Noon is plugged at the bottom, and well as the titular hit from it. "High Noon (Do Not Forsake Me)" had actually peaked at #12 on Billboard's pop chart that fall, not the country charts, on Capitol Records.

Measures 14" x 22" and grades to repaired Very Good Plus condition. Poster was in excellent shape, but needed a few light water stains removed from the white margins, expertly by Chameleon. General toning throughout. COA from Heritage Auctions.
