Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (NBC, 1988), Promotional Calendar and Life-Size Elvira Cardboard Cutout. Original pair of items featuring the tantalizing Elvira (Cassandra Peterson), consisting of (1) official spiral-bound 12" x 16" Elvira: Mistress of the Dark calendar portraying the master of the macabre in disturbing gothic backdrops, alluring scenarios, and amusing parodies for each month, and (1) 32" x 75" corrugated cardboard cutout standee of Elvira dressed in her plunging black dress and posed with arms to her waist. Cutout is folded along the waistline and complete with an attached easel stand. The instantly recognizable gothic icon was a prominent voice in introducing a new generation to classic horror B-movies and eventually spawned her own classics in the genre, hamming it up in such media as Elvira's Movie Macabre (KHJ-TV,1981-1986) and Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (NBC, 1988). Items exhibit expected signs of age and handling, including fold-wear along the cutout waistline and creasing on edges of the cutout. Calendar unused and presenting well overall.
