The Rolling Stones Mick Jagger Signed Check to Billy Preston, with (5) American Tour Documents (1975). Original Bank of New York check #101, dated March 3, 1975, on "Michael P. Jagger" account made out by Jagger for $650 to the legendary keyboardist Billy Preston, signed to the lower right "Mick Jagger". Also included are (5) vintage photocopied pages of the tour itineraries for dates at Boston Garden and Madison Square Garden in late June 1975 - the Stones' first tour with Ronnie Wood. Preston played keyboard on that tour, and one of these hotel assignment sheets has a tongue-in-cheek notation at the bottom: "Contrary to popular belief Billy Preston does not like white boys and he is staying at the YWCA." The next day's schedule noted: "Billy Preston is now at the YMCA and not the YWCA as previously announced." Provenance: Heritage Auctions, August 10, 2013, Lot 46438.
