Lowell George (Little Feat)/The Factory 1967 La Jolla, CA Concert Poster. The late, great Lowell George's first band, the Factory, is featured in this poster from a nightclub in La Jolla, California (with only the address given on the poster, "7853 Fay"). Designed by Evelyn Berdel (credited in the lower right corner) and printed by San Francisco's Double-H Press (lower left corner), this red & green small-town psychedelic gem is a great piece for fans of Little Feat.

La Jolla is a beach section of San Diego, so it's only fitting that a mermaid posed on her side is the centerpiece of the design. Gasoline was the headliner, tickets were $2.50 and the shows took place on Friday and Saturday nights, April 21 and 22, 1967. Lightshow was handled by The Unicorn. Most posters of this nature say "No Minors," but Berdel cleverly put "Be 21" instead.

George formed the Factory in 1966, and he even appeared on the goofy television show F Troop with the band (as "the Bedbugs"). George then did a brief stint with Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention before going on to form Little Feat in late 1969.
