Bob Dylan 1963 Concert Hand-Out "My Life in a Stolen Minute." An original four-page concert hand-out for Bob Dylan's famous Town Hall, New York concert on Friday evening, April 12, 1963. The content of this small pamphlet consists of two pages of prose that Dylan titled My Life in a Stolen Minute. Heritage has previously sold the handbill and program from this, Dylan's first major concert of his career; this is the prosaic take-away that gave patrons a chance to read about Dylan in his own words, as opposed to some polished Columbia Records press release.

Of course, the trouble is, Stolen Minute is full of Dylan's famous myth-making, which he was even feeding to Columbia's press people right from the start. All the stories about leaving home at an early age and ramblin' 'round the country... but like many things Dylan, it also has lots of truths... "I got wrote up in the [New York] Times after playin' in the fall at Gerde's Folk City...". True.

A great piece of early Bob memorabilia that few collectors have. The back cover is blank. Measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and grades to Very Good Plus condition. Has a stain on the back, down in the lower left. COA from Heritage Auctions.
