Bob Dylan 1964 Concert Flyer/Mailer for Detroit's Masonic Scottish Rite Cathedral. An original two-sided orange concert-advertising handbill/mailer from the fall of 1964 which includes Bob Dylan appearing on Saturday, October 17 at 8:30 PM.

Tickets were scaled from $1.75 to $3.75 and available at four locations. Nice pair of photos of Bob, including a great (and rare) smile. This was just two weeks before his famous "Halloween concert" on October 31 at New York's Philharmonic Hall, which found Bob in an amazingly good, funny, chatty mood. And which Sony Legacy released on CD quite some time ago.

Dylan's fourth album, Another Side of, with "Chimes of Freedom" and "It Ain't Me, Babe," had been out for about two months. And Dylan was already performing songs in concert from his fifth album due the following year, including "Mr. Tambourine Man," "Gates of Eden" and "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)."

Measures 8 1/2 x 13" and grades to Very Good condition. There is heavy toning to the piece throughout. On the Dylan side, there's a little bit of crumpling across the top, mostly missing the orange lettering. The lower right corner has a couple of harmless diagonal corner creases, not touching any orange on either side. The mailing-label side has some strong discoloration across the "Retort" return-address information. COA from Heritage Auctions.
