Barry Manilow Worn Tour Costume (1976). Original (2) piece costume including (1) off-white nylon long-sleeved shirt with Velcro front closure, single faux button at the neck, Velcro closures on the cuffs, 2-darts on the back, peak lapels, and handwritten "B. Manilow" bias label, and (1) white spandex V-neck long-sleeved shirt heavily embellished with round metal-set clear rhinestones down the front, back, and up the sleeves, with a zip closure down the left side of the torso. Worn by Barry Manilow during his 1976 tour. Costume exhibits wear and age, including snagging of the spandex and staining throughout, including blue stains on the rhinestone shirt down both sleeves and on the back. The undershirt has a black stain on the left shoulder and the right cuff. Provenance: From the collection of producer Paul Brownstein who served as Barry Manilow's assistant from 1978-1981.
