The Chronicles of Riddick (Universal, 2004), Karl Urban "Vaako" Custom-Made Costume on Display. Custom-made (8) piece Necromonger suit of armor constructed of rigid polyurethane including (1) helmet, (1) pair of pauldrons, (1) pair of rerebraces, (1) pair of vambraces, (1) cuirass, (1) belt consisting of fauld, tassets, codpiece and culet, (1) pair of cuisses, and (1) pair of greaves. The mannequin is made of dense foam and covered in a black nylon jumpsuit. Both the helmet and pauldrons are embellished with imagery of daemons and display intricately designed repoussé. The costume was meticulously crafted by Film Illusions and is identical to the design seen on screen. This armor design is worn by Vaako (Karl Urban) when he is promoted by Lord Marshal (Colm Feore) as his first commander toward the end of the film. Costume components have been applied to a display figure standing approx. 80" tall on a 38" x 32" wooden base. Items exhibit light handling and wear. The jumpsuit exhibits fading from age and some minor tears. Special shipping arrangements via a third-party shipper will apply. Provenance: Acquired directly from Film Illusions Inc.
