Deadly Friend (Warner Bros., 1986), Group of Key Final Poster and Concept Art Designs. Original group of (4) poster art designs including (1) concept design for the American one sheet, measuring 30" x 40" and accomplished with airbrush and embellished paste-up elements on artist's board, depicting the central elements of the final design except for the presence of Samantha Pringle (Kristy Swanson) in the window, (1) final key art for the French "Screw Eye" style one sheet, measuring 20" x 30" and accomplished with airbrush and acrylic on artist's board depicting the disembodied glowing eyes of Samantha with 1-green eye, 1-blue eye, and a screwhead for the pupil over a black background, (1) concept design accomplished in acrylic on 20" x 30" artist's board depicting Samantha and Tom Toomey (Michael Sharrett) facing each other as their hands touch in front of a large skull shape, and (1) concept design on 19.5" x 22" artist's board depicting Samantha in front of a glowing white and blue background, of which a smaller version of this design can be found in the floating window of the final one sheet poster design. The last design is by Richard Mahon, signed on the lower righthand corner in blue ink. All designs retain overlay leaf for protection, with all exhibiting signs of handling, wear, and age, including corner bumps and edgewear and occasional spots of paint loss to airbrushed areas.
