Description
The Omen (TCF, 1976), Revised Draft Screenplay and Production Call Sheet (Working Title Birthmark). Original 124-page (as paginated) Revised Draft Screenplay by David Seltzer for the horror script originally called "Birthmark", dated September 8, 1975, with rainbow revision pages dated September 26, bradded to an unmarked blue studio front wrap. Contains minor handwritten notations in blue ink on interior pages with handwritten names and phone numbers on front and fly pages. The supernatural horror film starring Gregory Peck as Richard Thorn would abandon the working title used in this draft in favor of the ominously catchy title The Omen, and would go onto gross over $60M at the box office on a miniscule $3M budget. Also includes (1) 3-page stapled call sheet, featuring the updated film title, for Day 54 of shooting, and (2) 10" x 8" black-and-white set stills. Script and call sheet in production-used condition, exhibiting stains, bumped and curled edges, stray marks and smudges, with call sheet exhibiting curled and tattered edges and some larger tears not affecting printed text. Set stills exhibiting some signs of corner wear. The poster image is for reference only and is not included with this lot. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Heritage Auctions provides as much information as possible but strongly encourages in-person inspection.
