The Blue and the Gray (CBS-TV, 1982), Gregory Peck Personal Book-bound Script in Two Volumes. Original group of (17) items including (1) custom-bound 195 and 187-page first revised draft scripts composed of photostat pages dated April 14, 1981, with revised pages dated October 8, 1981. Screenplay by Ian McLellan Hunter, adapted from the story by John Leekley and Bruce Catton. The present script was custom-bound for Mr. Peck's personal library in dark blue leatherette with title and Mr. Peck's name stamped in gilt on the front boards and spines and feature marbled endpapers. Accompanied by a group of (14) black and white as well as color 7.25" x 10" production stills and portraits from the film tipped to pages bound-in. This television miniseries aired on CBS in three installments on November 14, 16, and 17 in 1982. It was nominated for several Primetime Emmy Awards including Music Composition, Cinematography, Film Editing, and Sound Editing. Exhibits light handling and wear. Originally sold in Lot 89208 in the "Estate of Veronique and Gregory Peck" Auction on February 23, 2023, by Heritage Auctions. Comes with COA from the previous auction and COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Please note that while not a studio presentation script, the present script was custom bound for Mr. Peck's personal library and features his name stamped in gilt on the front board. The revision pages are photostat copies (white paper) of the original colored pages.
