1961 Gibson ES-5 Switchmaster Natural Archtop Electric Guitar, Serial #16290.Absolutely gorgeous big blonde ES-5 Switchmaster from Gibson. No changes, issues or modifications. A jazz guitar in almost all-original and nearly unplayed condition. Three PAF pickups. The serial number dates to 1961 but the FON is from 1960, beginning with an 'R'. Light wear to the gold plating on the pickups and the bridge. Minimal wear to the original frets. The switch-tip was broken and repaired but a small piece is missing. The nut is replaced with bone. The original pink lined, brown hard case is in great condition. Chances of finding one of these in this condition would be quite rare. 8.1lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Excellent.
