Collection of (3) model miniatures from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. (Warner Bros., 2005) A Collection of (3) model miniatures from Tim Burton's imagining of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, drawing elements from Roald Dahl's beloved children's book and the previous, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971). These items were used in scenes in which the town is viewed from overhead, as a miniature set was used to reproduce the large city. Included in this set are (1) 3.5 x 1.5 in. phone booth, (1) 2.25 x 1 in. mailbox, and (1) 1.25 x 1 in. newspaper dispenser. All fashioned from sheet brass and plexiglass, these miniatures are studio-painted blue with expert theatrical-soiling and specs of white to represent snow. Showing minor wear, including some bends in the brass and wear to the stickers on the phone booth, however all remain in very good, production used condition.
