Description

The Allman Brothers Band 1972 Syracuse, NY College Concert Poster. An original paper advertising poster for Gregg Allman, Dickie Betts and the Allman Bros. playing at the Manley Field House at Syracuse University in upstate New York on Friday night, April 7, 1972. Capricorn Records' Wet Willie and the esteemed Dr. John the Night Tripper were the support acts. And who needed Ticketmaster when tickets could be bought at Jabberwocky and the Blinker during bankers' hours?

The group was touring behind their brand new effort, Eat a Peach, which would bring them a whole new level of recognition and success through the spring, summer and fall. Really charming artwork of an oncoming locomotive and electric guitar, with the artist's credit at the tip of the guitar neck. Measures 16 1/2" x 21 5/8" and grades to Very Good Plus condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Has numerous spots of creasing, along with tearing in various areas(especially in the upper left edge and bottom edge).
