FD-65 Janis Joplin w/Big Brother, Canned Heat 1967 Avalon Ballroom Concert Poster Graded 9.8. First-printing San Francisco concert poster for Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company and the Canned Heat Blues Band playing at the Avalon Ballroom on Thursday thru Sunday nights, June 8-11, 1967. Known as FD-65 in the Family Dog numbered series, this poster was designed by Rick Griffin and is nicknamed both "Aunt Jemima" and "Magic Show." It measures 14 1/8" x 20 1/2" and has been graded a magical 9.8 Near Mint/Mint by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). COA from Heritage Auctions.
